We reserve the right, at our discretion, to change, modify, add, or remove portions of this Policy at any time. However, if at any time in the future we plan to use personally identifiable information in a way that materially differs from this Policy, including sharing such information with more third parties, we will post such changes on this page and provide you the opportunity to opt-out of such differing uses. Non-Personal or Aggregate Information That We Collect


When you access the Website, we may automatically collect non-personally identifiable information from you. We may also aggregate demographic information collected from our users (such as the number of users in a particular geographical location) in a manner that does not identify any one individual. We do disclose certain identifiers and internet or other similar network activity information, such as device and cookie identifiers and information about your browsing on the Website, to advertising partners so that advertisements for our services can be shown to you on other websites and platforms. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, this disclosure is considered a “share” for purposes of cross-context behavioral advertising, notwithstanding that we receive no monetary consideration for it. You may direct us to stop such sharing at any time, as described in “Your Right to Opt Out of Sale or Sharing” below. We do not share sensitive personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

  • We do not disclose your mobile telephone number, your text messaging opt-in data, or your text messaging consent to any advertising partner, advertising platform, or audience-matching service for any purpose, including for cross-context behavioral advertising or audience targeting. We exclude this information from every advertising audience that we create or upload.

  • Notwithstanding any other provision of this Policy, we will not sell, rent, or share the mobile telephone number you provide to enroll in our text message program, your text messaging opt-in data, or your text messaging consent with any third party for that third party’s own marketing purposes. We share that information only with service providers that process it on our behalf to operate our text message program, and only as necessary for that purpose or as required by law. This restriction applies to your text messaging enrollment information. It does not restrict our disclosure of a telephone number that you provide to us in connection with the Services, which we disclose as described in “Service Contact Information” below.

Analytics And Conversion Tracking


We may use analytics services that use cookies, JavaScript, and similar technologies to help us analyze how users use the Website. The information generated by these services about your use of the Website (including your internet protocol address (“IP Address”) or a truncated version of your IP Address) is transmitted to and stored by analytics service providers on their servers.   • Text Messages and Push Notifications. By providing us with your telephone number, you are authorizing us, our service providers, and their and our respective affiliated companies to deliver or cause to be delivered SMS text messages, texts, push notifications, and voice message notifications for transactional purposes. We will send you marketing or promotional text messages only if you have separately and affirmatively opted in to our recurring text message program known as “ShipCamps Marketing Alerts” (the “SMS Program”), as described in “Text Messaging and Mobile Opt-In Data” below. Please note that standard message rates and data charges from your cellular service provider may apply to sending and/or receiving text messages. You are solely responsible for such message rates and data charges. We will not sell any information obtained through the use of SMS text messages. We will not sell, rent, or share your mobile telephone number, your text messaging opt-in data, or your text messaging consent with any third party for that third party’s own marketing purposes.

  • Marketing Text Messages. If you have opted in to receive marketing text messages from us, you may cancel your enrollment at any time by replying STOP to any text message you receive from us. We will send a final text message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, after which you will no longer receive marketing text messages from us. You may also opt out by contacting us at customersupport@shipcamps.com or (855) 540-2267. Opting out of marketing text messages does not affect transactional or service-related messages relating to a specific order, which you may manage separately.


We do not control third parties’ collection or use of your information to serve interest-based advertising. However, these third parties may provide you with ways to choose not to have your information collected or used in this way. You can opt out of receiving targeted ads from members of the Network Advertising Initiative (“NAI”) on the NAI’s site.


California residents may have additional personal information rights and choices. Please see Your California Privacy Rights below for more information. Nevada residents who wish to exercise their sale opt-out rights under Nevada Revised Statutes Chapter 603A may submit a request to info@shipcamps.com. However, please know we do not currently sell data for monetary consideration, and therefore do not sell data triggering the statutory opt-out requirements of Chapter 603A. Your Right to Opt Out of Sale or Sharing


We share certain personal information with advertising partners for cross-context behavioral advertising, as described above. You have the right to direct us to stop this sharing at any time, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising that right.


To opt out, you may: (1) select the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link in the footer of our Website; (2) email us at info@shipcamps.com with the subject line “Do Not Sell or Share”; or (3) enable a recognized opt-out preference signal, such as the Global Privacy Control, in your browser or browser extension. We treat a recognized opt-out preference signal as a valid request to opt out with respect to the browser or device from which it is sent.


Because this opt-out is applied by browser and device, you will need to exercise it on each browser and device you use, and it may be reset if you clear your cookies. Opting out of sharing for advertising purposes does not stop us from using your information to provide our services to you, and it does not affect your enrollment in the SMS Program, which is addressed separately in “Text Messaging and Mobile Opt-In Data” below. As stated there, we do not share your mobile telephone number or your text messaging consent with third parties for their own marketing purposes, and no opt-out is therefore required with respect to that information.


Several other states (including, but not limited to: Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Indiana, Iowa, Montana, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, and Virginia) have enacted state privacy laws to provide their state residents with rights such as:

Text Messaging and Mobile Opt-In Data


If you consent to receive text messages from us under the SMS Program, we collect your mobile telephone number and a record of your consent, including the date, time, and method by which you gave it, together with information about the messages we send you and your responses to them, including any request to stop receiving messages.


We use this information only to operate and support the SMS Program, including sending you the messages you have asked to receive, responding to your HELP and STOP requests, maintaining records of consent as required by law, and measuring the performance of the SMS Program.


We do not sell, rent, or share the mobile telephone number you provide to enroll in the SMS Program, your text messaging opt-in data, or your text messaging consent with any third party for that third party’s own marketing purposes. We share that information only with service providers that process it on our behalf to deliver our text messages, and only as necessary for that purpose, or as required by law or legal process.


All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.


Consent to receive marketing text messages is collected separately from consent to receive email and separately from consent to receive transactional or Service-related text messages, and is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services, creating an account, or completing a booking. You may withdraw your consent at any time by replying STOP to any text message you receive from us. For more information about the SMS Program, including message frequency and applicable rates, see the Section titled “SMS/Text Message Program (ShipCamps Marketing Alerts)” in our Terms of Use at https://www.shipcamps.com/terms.


Service Contact Information


Capitalized terms used in this Section, including “Goods,” “Services,” and “3PL Providers,” have the meanings given to them in the Section titled “Terms of Service” in the Website Terms of Use. When you book a shipment or otherwise use the Services, you may provide a telephone number for us to use in connection with the Services. We refer to this as your service contact number. Your service contact number is collected and stored separately from any telephone number you provide to enroll in the SMS Program, and providing a service contact number does not enroll you in the SMS Program.


We disclose your service contact number to third parties as necessary to arrange, complete, and perform the Services. These recipients include the carriers, couriers, and other third-party companies used to transport your Goods or otherwise to perform the Services, together with the pickup and delivery locations involved in performing the Services, such as golf courses, hotels, and resorts. The Website Terms of Use refer to these companies collectively as “3PL Providers.” These recipients also include service providers that process the information on our behalf, such as our customer support platform. We disclose only the information each recipient needs for that purpose.


A 3PL Provider may use your service contact number to contact you in connection with the Services, including to reach you regarding a delivery attempt or a delivery exception. We do not authorize any 3PL Provider, pickup or delivery location, or other service provider to use your service contact number for its own marketing purposes, and we do not sell or rent your service contact number to any third party.


Your service contact number is not used to send you marketing text messages unless you have separately enrolled in the SMS Program as described in “Text Messaging and Mobile Opt-In Data” above. Your text messaging opt-in data and your text messaging consent are never disclosed to any of the recipients described in this Section.


Security


The security of your personally identifiable information is very important to us. When we collect your personally identifiable information online, we use reasonable efforts to protect it from unauthorized access. However, due to the inherent open nature of the internet, we cannot guarantee that your personally identifiable information will be completely free from unauthorized access by third parties. Your use of the Website demonstrates your assumption of this risk.


We have put in place reasonable physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard the information we collect from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. All information you provide to us is stored on our secure servers behind firewalls. Any payment transactions will be encrypted using SSL technology. Only those employees who need access to your information in order to perform their duties are authorized to have access to your personally identifiable information. The safety and security of your information also depends on you. Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password for access to certain parts of our site, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share your password with anyone. We urge you to be careful about giving out information in public areas of the Website like message boards. The information you share in public areas may be viewed by any user of the Website.


Your Disclosures in Blogs and Other Social Media


You should be aware that personally identifiable information which you voluntarily include and transmit on the Website or that you share in an open forum such as an in-person panel or survey or on social media, may be viewed and used by others without any restrictions. We are unable to control such uses of your personally identifiable information, and by using the Website or any other online services you assume the risk that the personally identifiable information provided by you may be viewed and used by third parties for any number of purposes.

As a convenience to you, we may provide links to third-party services from within our Website. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of these third-party sites. When you link away from our Website, you do so at your own risk.


Protection For Children


The Website is not intended for children under 16 years of age. We do not intentionally collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 16, and no one under the age of 16 years may provide any personal information to or on the Website. If at any time in the future we plan to collect personally identifiable information from children under 16, such collection and use, to the extent applicable, shall, when required, be done in compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (“COPPA”) and appropriate consent from the child’s parent or guardian will be sought where required by COPPA. If you are under 16, do not use or provide any information on the Website or through any of its features, register on the Website, make any purchases through the Website, use any of the interactive or public comment features of the Website, or provide any information about yourself to us, including your name, address, telephone number, email address, or any screen name or username you may use. If we learn we have collected or received personal information from a child under 16 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information. Separately, and regardless of the age threshold above, you must be at least 18 years of age to consent to receive marketing text messages from us and to participate in the SMS Program. We do not knowingly enroll any person under 18 years of age in the SMS Program. If we learn that a person under 18 years of age has been enrolled, we will remove that person’s mobile telephone number from the SMS Program.


European Users; GDPR


We will only process your personal data to the extent necessary to provide the services offered through the Website. Global Sticks Express, LLC is the “data controller” for the information, including any personal data, that we collect when you visit the Website. Accordingly, we decide how to use any such information and we are responsible for complying with any relevant obligations imposed under the GDPR.

The SMS Program is offered only to recipients with United States mobile telephone numbers and is not available to users located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom.

We will delete or deidentify personal information not subject to one of these exceptions from our records and will direct our service providers to take similar action. We do not provide these deletion rights for B2B personal information.


Exercising Your Rights to Know or Delete


To exercise the access, data portability and deletion rights described above, please submit a verifiable consumer request to us by either:

Only you, or someone legally authorized to act on your behalf, may make a request to know or delete related to your personal information. We cannot respond to your request or provide you with personal information if we cannot verify your identity or authority to make the request and confirm the personal information relates to you. We will only use personal information provided in the request to verify the requestor's identity or authority to make it.


Your request to know or delete must:


  • Provide sufficient information that allows us to reasonably verify you are the person about whom we collected personal information or an authorized representative, which may include, but shall not be limited to: the type of information given; approximate dates when such personal information was requested; where the data was collected.

Response Timing and Format


We will confirm receipt of your request to know or request to delete within ten business days. We do not charge a fee to process or respond to your verifiable consumer request unless it is excessive, repetitive, or manifestly unfounded. If we determine that the request warrants a fee, we will tell you why we made that decision and provide you with a cost estimate before completing your request. We endeavor to substantively respond to a verifiable consumer request within forty-five days of its receipt. If we require more time (up to another forty-five days), we will inform you of the reason and extension period in writing. If you have an account with us, we will deliver our written response to that account. If you do not have an account with us, we will deliver our written response by mail or electronically, at your option.


Any disclosures we provide will only cover the 12-month period preceding our receipt of your request. The response we provide will also explain the reasons we cannot comply with a request, if applicable. For data portability requests, we will select a format to provide your personal information that is readily useable and should allow you to transmit the information from one entity to another entity without hindrance.
